Greenville University's Drum Major and Leadership Camp

Panther Summer Music Camps

I have applied many things from the camp that improve my performance. It was a great experience! I am going back this year, and have already recommended it to my friends!

Camp was a lot of fun. I made lasting memories and friendships. I improved my skills so much in just those five days! I could direct so much better. We also talked a lot about the leadership role of being drum major. I felt much more confident with myself afterwards.”

The fact that Greenville's Camp was instructed by collegiate level music professors was very appealing to me as an aspiring musician. I definitely felt improvement in my understanding of songwriting by the end of camp. Our instructors, Luke DeJaynes and Jorge Casas, had a lot of music knowledge and experience to offer and teach us. Also, on one day of camp, Clayton Jones of The Madison Letter came in, worked with us, and provided his insight. Seeing the different approaches in songwriting of these 3 instructors and how they worked together was very beneficial to me.”
